Our last look for our Valentine’s Day Series is the Super Girly Glam. Super Girly Glam was inspired by the tradition of gifting loved ones with candy on Valentine’s Day, so Candy Yum-Yum lipstick was a no brainer. The end result of this look channels the romantic and flirtatious nature of Valentine’s Day, in an über-feminine and fun way. This look can also be paired with a sexy red lip, using MAC’s Ruby Woo.
As always Eve’s perfect face routine can be duplicated using the same combination of foundations from the Soft Glam and Vampy Glam looks (dewy and matte foundations which create a natural finish). She eliminated any signs of dark circles using her Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in the shade light warm. She then set her concealer with the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder.
When using glitter makeup make sure to prime your lids, be it with eyeshadow or a glitter primer. Anything that will give the glitter a base to stick to, that isn’t your bare skin, will work. Eve used a few Makeup Geek eyeshadows first, specifically: Peach Smoothie, Unexpected, Pop Culture, and Crème Brulee. She then coated her lids with some Violet Voss Secret Weapon Glitter Adhesive and proceeded to apply their Venus glitter. As with the previous looks, the drama wouldn’t be complete without a bomb winged liner, and her MAYBELLINE Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eye Liner never disappoints. She finished off this Super Girly, Barbie-inspired glam with her va-va-voom Huda Beauty Scarlett #8 lashes. I mean, obviously *flips hair*.
Eve went with her tried and true Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in light. She resorted to her favorite blush, Milani Luminoso Blush, which she applied to the apples of her cheeks. She achieved that beautiful glow using her treasured Glow Kit in Gleam. She opted for a mixture of the Crushed Pearl and Starburst shades. As you might have guessed, she spritzed on some MAC Fix+ and Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray to make sure she maintained her sexy look all day and very well into the night.
No surprise here! She gave this look its final touch using Candy Yum-Yum lipstick. This is a very bright, almost neon pink lipstick. Like every lipstick used in the series, it is a matte shade, which guarantees intense pigmentation and incredible staying power (we’re talking 5+ hours here). The color also has blue undertones which helps in making teeth appear whiter, so you can smile bigger!
This is the perfect date night look, whether your date is with your significant other or your couch (just remember to take some selfies and tag me!). It’s a very dramatic look and yet it is still romantic, what more could we ask for?
Remember to have a safe, fun, and makeup-filled Valentine’s Day! Don’t forget to check back for the final Valentine’s Day post tomorrow!
And a final thank you to Eve for being amazing and putting all these looks together for us! Isn’t she amazing?! 🙂
